The ONE upside to procrastination:

My boyfriend, being the amazing guy he is, got me TOMS for our 2 year anniversary last week. Teal. <3 Seeing that I haven't done my shoe project yet, I can draw my TOMS!!! :]]] This is the only upside to not starting until 2 weeks before school. ;)

I would just like everybody to know...

... that Mr. Ottum laughed at me when I told him I had never taken an art class before. That is right, he LAUGHED. Not a mean, "sucks to be you" kind of laugh (well, maybe a little) but rather a "You had better work your butt off and hope that you're up to the challenge" kind of laugh. He then told me that this class was going to be extremely hard for me, requiring both hard work and natural talent. :/// Is it legal to terrify and partially traumatize students?

I've TOTALLY started my AP summer homework... :/

I started my shoe portrait! I sketched my sister's cowboy boot next to her pink pump in order to fairly represent who she is from every angle... However, when I logged on and spotted Mrs. Ottum's shoe "examples" I quickly went from :]] to :[[[. But hey! Just because my art isn't great, doesn't mean I should be discouraged, right?? I mean, at least I started, and the first step to getting good is starting! :]
